The Lohen performance exhaust manifold is a direct replacement for the O/E manifold on your R53 MINI, with a choice of an easily changeable high flow sports catalyst (cat) or a de-cat pipe.
The exhaust manifold is made from 304 stainless steel and uses a 4-1 downpipe design with an increased diameter bore and relaxed design, particularly on ports 1 and 4 where the original manifold is fairly restrictive, producing a noticeable power gain and helping to improve mid-range power and torque.
Please note: the sports catalyst or de-cat section must be purchased separately in addition to the manifold. As the cat/de-cat section is removable it's easy to change between a sports catalyst or a de-cat pipe if you're running on the road and circuit.
The de-cat exhaust version is sold for motorsport and off road use only worldwide.
The sports catalyst version replaces a factory emissions device and is not EC homologated. This may not meet current emission laws for road use in your territory.
All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied (excluding turbo gasket).
EML lights may activate after removing the standard O/E catalyst. An ECU Re-map is recommended to correct this problem and stabilise all power increases.
